We offer diplomas and /or Associate of Science degrees in the following fields of study: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, General Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Management, Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant and Nursing.
Dade Medical College owns and operates several Florida campuses and we are looking for passionate individuals to be a part of our team. Dade Medical College is seeking qualified individuals to become fullâ€"time & partâ€"time faculty members. Most full time faculty members work a five (5) day work week, Monday through Friday.The Nursing Instructors will be responsible for the effective communication of course related informa! tion to students, utilizing diverse and participative instruct! ional strategies. They must adhere to the standardized curriculum and lesson plans, inspire and motivate students by effective role modeling, be sensitive to student needs and have the ability to identify appropriate resources to support student successes and achievement.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.
Prepares and plans adequately for effective classroom, laboratory or clinical instruction, ensuring that the lesson plan and presentation strategies are well prepared, the learning environment is optimal, and the instructional materials are in proper working order 2. Follows the standardized curriculum, focusing on the unit objectives or laboratory proficiencies; communicates appropriately with the program director regarding any curriculum or lesson plan 3. Demonstrates appropriate presentation/speaking skills including the introduction of a wide diversity of instructional strategies encouraging active student participation 4. Demonstrates appropriate use o! f written reference materials as well as audiovisual and other instructional aids 5.
Utilizes diverse questioning strategies to determine depth and range of student understanding 6. Ensures that the learning environment is maintained in a neat and orderly manner, and that all equipment is cleaned and returned to its appropriate storage position following use 7. Maintains administrative records in a wellâ€"organized, accurate and timely manner, including attendance, academic proficiency evaluations, curriculum, etc. â€"Currently licensed to practice Nursing in Floridaâ€"Masters in Nursing highly preferredBilingual in Spanish and English a plus â€"Teaching experience a plusHave the equivalent of at least 2 years of fullâ€"time experience as a nurse educatorâ€"Have a current certification as an ARNP in Florida
