Under supervision of the Director of Global ! Government
and Military Sales, the Navy or Army Business
Development Manager must be able to create, cultivate,
and close sales in the Active, Reserve and National
Guard and any other Governmental agency deemed
appropriate by the Director of Global Government and
Military sales both domestically and internationally.
Accountable for results in terms of sales, cost
containment, capital budgets, operating expenses,
forecasting, strategic planning, customer satisfaction,
and employee relations. The Military Business
Development Manager must be aggressive hunter looking
for opportunities to maximize their earning potential.
Position can be corporate or field based.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Communicates effectively to senior management
  • Identify and evaluate possible military business
opportunities for CAE’s products and services
  • Pursue, captures and closes sale! s with satisfactory
terms, conditions, and financia! l results
  • Plans, organize, and manage the preparation of
proposals, including cost, scheduling, and presentation
to the customer
  • Develop, prepares, and present briefings to both
management, and customers regarding program cost,
performance, technical, and contractual status
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Lays the foundation for future programs, and contracts
  • Participates in government, industry tradeshows, and
networking events
  • Develop and nurture long term relationships with
military, and government personnel
  • Meets and strives to exceed sales targets through
direct sale of all CAE Healthcare products
  • Monitors and reports accurate sales forecast, and
execute tactical sales plans
  • Keeps current on legislation, and regulations
affecting the U.S. Military
  • Assure ad! herence to company policies
GENERAL
  • Complies with and enforces all applicable safety
rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Performs all duties in complete compliance with all
legal and ethical standards.
  • Maintains the security of proprietary information.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without
direct supervision.
  • Interact professionally with other employees,
customers, or suppliers.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all
assignments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as judgment and
necessity dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Education
B.S/B.A. preferred
Experience
Retired or Veteran Navy or Army, with a clinical
background, and a 7 year proven track record with
military business development.
Computer Skills

  • Database management
PREFERENCES
  • RN, EMT-P or EMT
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to travel 70%
  • Excellent oral and written communication,
presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds (Simulators)
