Job Description:!
Maintains and updates human resource information system and employee personnel records. The HR Generalist is responsible for processing all data necessary to maintain the files accurately and in a timely manner. Generates routine, special and ad hoc reports. This position also assists in the completion of new employee processing, contract employee processing, and other related documentation. Provides primary administrative support and assistance to the Human Resources Department and assigned Executive/Department Head. Performs a variety of clerical duties, the ability to communicate with applicants, employees, Department Heads, etc. Obtains and maintains appropriate confidential documentation for employment, status changes, leaves of absences, etc., relative to all hospital employees.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Bachelors degree in HR Management preferred
PHR certification preferred!
1-3 years of human resources experience required; hospital experience strongly preferred
Lawson HRIS and Kronos knowledge a plus
Excellent customer service and computer skills
Ability to multi-task in a busy HR department
