The UVM Health Network Patient Access and Service Center has immediate Patient Access Specialist openings to assist our patients and physicians throughout the network. The job duties will focus on assisting our patients that require technical support using MyChart. These individuals will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and a strong technical proficiency. Experience using and working within Epic MyChart is a plus!
The Patient Access Specialist answers inbound calls for various departments providing front-line customer service to patients, physicians and staff. The Patient Access Specialist schedules and coordinates simple and complex patient appointments for respective clinics. Incumbent prioritizes patient problems and provides appropriate patient instructions. This position requires the ability to communicate in a clear, effective, and competent manner while providing welcoming and approachable service to ensure a positive outcome
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated customer service in a medical, fast-paced retail or other business environment. Call center experience preferred
