Cutting Edge Custom Painting, a renowned painting company specializing in high-quality custom finishes, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Packer/Picker/Shipper. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient packing, picking, and shipping of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently pack products according to established guidelines and quality standards.
Utilize picking lists to gather items from inventory for orders.
Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Maintain organized inventory storage and assist with inventory counts as needed.
Inspect products for defects or damage before packing and address any issues promptly.
Follow established shipping procedures, including coordinating with shipping carriers and generating shipping labels.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in packing, picking, or shipping preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move packages of various sizes.
