WSU AmeriCorps: The Kansas African American Museum


 
The Kansas African American Museum presents Adinkrahene: Journey to Greatness: Adinkrahene Program: Journey to Greatness is a 4-session program that provides cultural enrichment lessons to students grades 6-8 and can be modified to serve high school age students Adinkrahene provides a framework to assess individual greatness through exposure to cultural enrichment through African/African American art, history, language, music, and economics. This program is designed to encourage a better understanding of their personal value and potential impact on their community.



Member Duties : Assist in personal and group tours at The Kansas African American Museum, Assist in TKAAM event set up and building operations, Google form data management, social media content creation, Facilitating education programs, utalize cameras , creating reports from feed back data, and creating reports from social media data.


Program Benefits : Education award upon successful completion of service .

Permits attendance at school during off hours , Permits working at another job during off hours , Car recommended .
