The University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center has an employment opportunity for an LPN to work in a busy Cardiology Clinic.
The LPN acts under the Registered Nurse as a part of a team to provide quality care to designated patients. The LPN works within the scope of practice within the Florida Board of Nursing Practice.
Minimum requirements include: Current/valid Florida LPN license. Associates degree from accredited nursing school. Minimum of one year LPN experience preferably in a hospital setting. BLS certification. Will consider recent licensed graduates. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Excellent English verbal/written skills are necessary. Moderate to advance computer literacy and skills. Tact, diplomacy and ability to work with individuals in all levels of hospital and medical staff organization. Multitasking and communication skills are necessary. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
