Job Description Performs delegated tasks of patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Utilizes skills which she/he has obtained in educational programs and/or orientation and has demonstrated competency. Participates actively a member of the patient care team.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or GED. CNA or PCT training program, or Completion of "Fundamentals" as a nursing student, or Six months acute care (bedside) experience.
Other Qualifications:
Patient care skills, knowledge of infection control and safety procedures, medical terminology, strong verbal and written communication skills. Requires independent judgment, a high level of motivation, accountability, flexibility, interest in patient care, and compassion for people.
License or Certification:
Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Non-exempt Hours/Pay Period: 60 Schedule Details: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am; Monday - Friday Weekend Schedule: Every third
