The RN II recognizes the need for ongoing evaluation and inquiry to improve patient outcomes. The RN II develops patient specific long-range goals and plans that are managed through organizing, prioritizing, and coping with multiple patient needs and skill requirements. At this level, expected performance outcomes are based upon patient/family/nurse interactions.
Requirements :
Ability to perform physical activity, including, but not limited to: repetitive motions, feeling, grasping, fingering (pinching, typing, handling, etc.) lifting, pulling, pushing, walking, standing, reaching, crouching, and stooping. Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse, BSN preferred, Certified Emergency Nurse, recommended, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, required. Course in Advanced Trauma Nursing, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Trauma Nurse Core Course, recommended. 8 hours of Hazmat awareness, required.A minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse.Cognitive skill required to safely administer medication. Physical ability to perform all aspects of patient care, including CPR on all patients ranging in age from neonate to adult. Read/write/speak and understand English. Auditory and visual ability to assess and provide nursing care. Ability to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, ancillary and support staff.
