DUTIES

Responsible for teaching individuals self-care, daily living, communication and social skills; vocational skills; assisting in community experiences; implementing behavior reduction programs; data collection; and documentation client progress. The position is also responsible for providing safety, well being for clients, lead activities, and ensure basic needs are provided all while upholding and respecting individual rights. Other duties may include: medication administration, transportation to/from daily activities, house maintenance and food preparation, assisting with personal hygiene and other related direct care responsibilities.

AVAILABLE SHIF! T: Overnight Friday and Saturday 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM
QUALIFICATIONS

The qualified candidate should have a minimum of:

• High School Diploma
• Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, ABA, Special Education, Vocational/Occupational Rehabilitation, Social Work or Nursing preferred
• Two (2) years of experience working with individuals with disabilities required; experience working with individuals with autism preferred
• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Must be able to meet Easter Seals Florida -Approved Driver Qualifications
• Must be able to successfully complete all Pre-Employment Training requirements

• Microsoft Word - Basic
• Microsoft Excel - Basic
• Microsoft PowerPoint - Basic
• Microsoft Outlook - Basic
• Internet - Basic
• Database - Basic
