Pediatric Phone Nurse
We are a busy pediatric practice with wonderful doctors. Applicants must be professional and courteous while providing excellent service to our patients and families. We are currently seeking a Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide phone triage support for our patients.
Pediatric Phone Nurse Duties:
*Provide nurse phone triage
*Educate and assist patients
*Order labs and follow up on lab tests
*Call in prescriptions and refills
*Obtain drug and Medicaid supplement authorizations
*Maintain IV Therapy qualification
*Obtain STAT authorizations/referrals
*Make appointments
Pediatric Phone Nurse Qualifications:
* Medical Office Experience
* Valid FL Medical License
* Ability to work under stressful situations
* Excellent computer skills
