Your key responsibilities

  • As a Relationship Manager (focusing on entrepreneurs) within our International Private Bank China team, she or he will play a key role in winning new business, as well as developing new client relationships.

  • With a solid understanding of private banking and how it works, she or he will be responsible for taking our best-in-class products and services to our clients. This will involve maintaining sound market intelligence, enabling you to source suitable solutions and promote new investment solutions holistically covering UHNWI/entrepreneurs’ personal, family, and business solutions.

  • Her or his performance will be sales driven and delivery focused. We’ll look to you to leverage our ONE BANK ethos to promote and deliver best-in-class products and services from across our business, thereby providing comprehensive solutions that maximize profitability for clients.

  • Assist the Head of IPB China in generating on-going strategy for IPB and managing the execution of such strategy in this high profile market.

  • Assist new initiatives, strategic alliance, branding management, etc.

Your skills and experience

  • More than ten years’ experience in private banking, corporate banking, or investment banking.

  • A proven track record in growing business and revenue.

  • Solid understanding of financial services and all asset classes as well as corporate solutions.

  • Previous exposure to the WM/PB and corporate & investment banking markets.

  • Strong networking skills and an excellent ability to connect with people.

  • Familiar with One Belt One Road and relevant national policies as a national citizen who will support the country’s development.

  • Familiar with entrepreneurs’ succession planning, family governance, and corporate advisory.

  • Working independently and working as an excellent team player.

  • Bachelor degree in business or related field

  • Performance-oriented, thorough understanding of banking /investment products and operations

  • Self-starter and a good team player

  • Good inter-personal skills

  • Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English written and verbal communications

  • Strong PC Skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
