Summary:
The NICU Transport Teamleader coordinates transport of patients by van, air and other non-routine transports to and from the facility.
Responsibilities:
Performs as lead member of the transport team.
Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
Documents and reports all events that occur during transport of patient.
Performs in a clinical role to transport patients to or from facility.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Two years of clinical experience required.
One year of experience in a leadership role required.
Graduate of an accredited registered nurse or respiratory therapy program required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current Neonnatal Pediatric Transport Course required.
Current NRP required.
Current PALS certification required.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida required or licensure eligible if candidate is a Registered Nurse.
