***Looking for a candidate who can wo! rk evenings, weekends and be on-call. Must be a hard worker and a team player with an upbeat and positive attitude! Keep in mind that if you start out part time and a full time position opens, you may be eligible to move up.***

Key responsibilities include:
1. Assists in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment in the best interests of residents.
2. Monitors residents within state licensure regulations; may supervise and direct resident assistants where allowed by state licensure regulations.
3. Assists in writing service plans based on resident needs.
4. Obtains and administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician. Documents and reviews medication and treatment sheets for accuracy and compliance with physician orders, professional standards, federal and state regulations and company policy.
5. Monitors responses to treatment plans. Possesses knowledge of medication interactions and notifies Resident Ca! re Coordinator and Director of any occurrences. Adheres to infection control policies and procedures.
6. Counts controlled substances with off going nurse or resident assistant; secures and corrects reconciliation of controlled substances during shift.
7. Assures cleanliness and organization of medicine supply room and security of discontinued medicine in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
8. Assists with discharge process relevant to medication/treatment orders.
9. Possesses knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control standards.
10. Follows policies and procedures to ensure resident safety.
11. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.

Required Skills:

  • Must have at least 1 year experience as an LPN
  • Basic CPR/First Aid training.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must have a background in Long-Term Care.
  • Basic knowledg! e of computer applications is required.
  • Available to work week! ends, Evenings, and On-Call
