Physical Requirements:
Heavy to moderate activi! ty, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, able! to lift 45 lbs. unassisted, bending, stooping, reaching. Good visual acuity (corrected if necessary); good hearing ability (as needed for auscultation and communication); good fine motor skills (as needed to handle IV’s, syringes, etc.). Able to comply with mandates as directed by the HAZCOM standards.
Working Conditions:
Customer volume that fluctuates; dealing with injured and ill people which expose the employee to stressful situations and strong human emotion. Exposure to hazards associated with a hospital environment including: infections, disease, cytotoxic drugs, chemicals, x-rays, and bodily fluids. Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
