This position provides professional nursing care for the comfort and ! well-being of patients on Emergency Department patient. Prepares equipment and assists physician during examination and treatment. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.

he ER also has a Results Waiting Room, specifically for patients waiting on results to be discharged home

Qualifications
Must have at least two years of recent experience working as a licensed Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room*
Must be a Registered Nurse with a
current Florida license
Current BLS & ACLS & PALS certifications required
Upon hire: Must be able to successfully pass a written EKG test prior to working on the unit
Electronic Medical Record experience required - assessment, documentation, order entry
