The CPOE RN leads the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the in-house "Advanced Clinicals" Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) system and related clinical information initiatives.
Typical Monday-Friday schedule with some weekend requirements as necessary for education of staff.
Qualifications
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferre! d.
Current FL RN license in the State of Florida.
Mature understanding of Meditech; 6 months or greater of nursing informatics (or equivalent) experience required with CPOE Train-the-trainer level knowledge/expertise
Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personality types
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing
Excellent leadership and teaching abilities
Advanced computer skills preferred.
An understanding, enthusiasm and commitment to the goals of the project
Effective organizational skills
Good problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
