Description: Munroe Regional Medical Center is in need of Surgery Assistant-Mon-Fri varied hours; call required right now, this vacancy will be placed in Florida. This position contributes to the mission of the Medical Center and the goals of the department by: Performing as a member of the OR team by maintaining a clean and safe environment in the OR suites, and assisting the Perioperative Registered Nurses with patient care. Conforms to departmental policies and procedures in reference to work schedules. Is competent in patient transport, positioning, and patient rights.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Degree: GED/High S! chool Diploma (Areas of Specialization): Licensure/Certificati! ons: None Skills: Must be able to read, write, comprehend and speak English fluently. Must be able to follow verbal and written English instructions without hesitatin. Basic life support. Experience: Entry Level Position / Certified Nurses Aide preferred.
