Position Overview:
This is an outside field sales role. You will not report to a single office location. You will be trained to call on small and medium-sized businesses in a variety of industries, meeting face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers to offer our best-in-industry products to them and their employees. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Daily in-person prospecting of small- to medium-sized markets
Responding to emails and phone calls from clients and setting follow-up appointments
Setting initial meetings and appointments with managers, owners, and other decision-makers
Presenting to individuals and as well as both large and small employee groups
In-person consultations & presentations of our products
Achieving monthly sales goals by establishing new clients and re-servicing existing clients
Reporting sales activity and results to sales team manager
Developing relationships & following-up with potential clients and prospects
This position is focused primarily on establishing new clients and business accounts starting out, and as your personal established book of business grows, will then shift to upselling and maintaining your existing accounts

Additional Position Qualifications:
Already licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing and able to obtain Health & Life producer license - licensing reimbursement offered)
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional (post-high school) work experience. Candidates within 6 months or less of degree completion will be considered, as will candidates with less than 4 years of professional work experience who have relevant or specialized outside sales experience.
