Indian River medical Center is currently looking for an Administrative Control Center Clerk.
Job Summary :
Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager, the Administrative Control Center Clerk performs all clerical, communications and receptionist functions necessary to support professional and ancillary activities on a patient care unit.
Major Responsibilities :
1. Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
2. Maintains patient’s medical record.
3. Performs receptionist duties for the patient care units.
4. Demonstrates knowledge and support of ACC unit and hospital policies and procedures.
The Administrative Control Center Clerk would be required to have:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Certificate! of satisfactory completion of a course for Administrative Control Center Clerks (Unit Clerk), or 3 years clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting.
Previous experience is desirable.
Computer or typing skills preferred.
