This internship is available at Morton Plant Hospital, Mease Countryside, Mease Dunedin and NorthBay.
Required Education: ASN
Required Experience: Over one year of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience in an acute care setting or LTAC facility.
(Applicants need to have started working in a RN position no later than 2/17/13 to qualify for this program)
Required Licensure: FL RN License
Required Certification: BLS (& EKG course must be completed prior to start date. Certification or transcripts will be required to interview)
- Internship Begins
(external applicants hired will start 3/31/14)
- Emergency Nurse Internship will be 12 weeks in length. During the time of the internship all interns will be assigned to the day shift and will be exempt from any overtime. Interns should not be taking any other programs o! r courses during the emergency nurse internship.
- Upon completion of the program you will resume to work on the shift and the unit you were hired for (no exceptions). Available openings and shifts are based on the needs of the unit. You must be flexible and willing to work either day or night shift.
- There is a two year required commitment to the unit of hire beginning the end of the 12 week program.
