Responsible for managing the planning, development, implementation, quality assurance and maintenance of IT applications and systems contributing to the overalls IT strategy and plan.
Essential Functions:
Works with business stakeholders and the PMC Lead Teams, to identify, evaluate and prioritize IT requirements, facilitating organizational change when necessary.
Works with business stakeholders, PMC Lead Teams to develop, maintain, implement, and measure PMC IT plans by providing tactical and strategic technical direction utilizing standard practices that support the growth and future technology advances to the benefit of ! PharMerica.
Works with IT Management to develop stand! ards for all IT systems and applications to assure that IT service meets agreed service levels.
Works with business owners to develop the business case for initial IT requests (Project Definitions, ROI, etc.) Reviews and evaluates project feasibility studies and make recommendations. Direct the creation of Capital Enhancement Requests (CERs) with business partners.
Manage IT and QA managers overseeing multiple teams of programmer analysts and quality assurance team members responsible for software development.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration plus a minimum ten+ yearsâ experience in IT.
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently utilizing onshore and offshore resources.
Maintenance and support of mission critical production systems and quality assurance processes.
Hands on experience with Microsoft .Net platform and/o! r IBM iSeries development including RPG Free and ILE
Prefer experience with Sharepoint and/or BizTalk.
Ability to review and analyze functional and technical specifications.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; good listener.
Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
Desired experience with Insurance, Healthcare, LTC, or Pharmaceutical IT Industry.
Prior experience developing, negotiating, and executing upon IT service level agreements and vendor contracts.
